Plaque Francaise. 27,500 Euros sur LBC le 10 novembre 2016. 1) Beautiful 1969 Stingray Corvette Convertible 327 350hp 4-speed air-conditioned car. This car originally started its life out as a river side gold paint code 980 and original engine suffix code HX which means it was a 350 4 speed manual car with air conditioning. The engine code on the block in the car now is a time period correct 1968 to 1969 GM#393-3180 it is a 327 350hp motor that runs amazing. It has a Edelbrock manifold, holly electric choke carb, long tube header and a brand new exhaust from the headers back, clutch and transmission shift as they should. Car sounds as good as it looks and drives!. This car has working and functioning cold air conditioning. Interior of the car is original and in great shape, included in the sale of the car but not in pictures is a brand new 3 piece set of mats in black that say Stingray in red lettering. The odometer stopped working recently and shows 52k miles on the clock that I can't verify but believe to be original, rpm gauge works when it wants to, gas, oil and battery gauges work. Manual windows and locks all work as they should. The paint on the car is absolutely beautiful with little to no blemishes. There is however two dimples on the drivers side door from what was a bad door hinge stopper at some point that has now been fixed. Also on the Top of the drivers and passengers side fenders along the top of the bonding seam there is some straight hairline cracks that are barely noticeable that I can't even capture in pics to show. The convertible top on the car is in great shape and works without any problems. I would recommend changing the weather stripping if you'r going to be driving her in the rain or just looking for a tight seal. I am selling this car at a low reasonable price. This is a great car for someone looking to get into a turn key classic to take to car shows and out on weekend drives. it's amazing the attention this car gets where ever I go with her. Sold for $17,000 on August 25, 2015. |
