| This classic sports a 427 390 hp with 4 speed manual transmission with air conditioning. The number matching engine is strong and fast with no smoke. The transmission is very tight and shifts great. The side exhaust is not too loud but still announces that you’re arriving. This is the last year that the factory side exhaust was offered. Brakes recently serviced including new master cylinder. The tires are brand new. The car drives and stops straight. The car tag list Color 983 and Trim 427. It was repainted in 1982 and has been sitting the garage ever since. Driven briefly in the summer of 1997. The current paint is in good condition with a few nicks and a little spider web on top of passenger front fender. The body and frame are fantastic. The original chrome bumpers are great as is the glass. Car originally from Oklahoma and I am second owner. The vacuum accessories all work great. The lights open and close with no problem as do the windshield wipers. The fiber optic system functions fine as do all the other electrical items. Power windows work fine. Also has removable rear window. The interior is good with the exception of the seats. They need some help. These are reflected in the photos. 62,706 miles from the odometer. September 8, 2009. |
