| 68 Corvette Convertable 4spd. NO TITLE. Original 327 motor long gone. Frame was completely blasted and painted with GM black frame paint in 1992. The suspension was completely rebuilt with all New Urathane bushings front and rear. 175. kit All New ball joints, New tie rod ends New rear Fiberglass spring 325. kit New Front springs 125. New gas shocks F & R 100. New SS O-ring Calipers 450. New brake pads 50. New SS Caliper brake lines 450. New rear Emrg brakes SS kit 200. New 4.11 posi chunk 1600. New Chrome half shafts 400 set New Chrome drive shaft 250. New Fuel tank (GM NOS) 475. New Fuel sending unit (NOS) 275. New SS Fuel lines (on frane) 150. New SS Tank vent line (on frame) 150. New SS Brake lines.(on frame) 150. Bought a Custom Built 454/450hp mtr from a speed shop ($6500.00). Had Speed shop rebuild the muncie 4 spd trans to go behind the 454($1400).. MSD custom built Dist and hyfire box 6AL set up 500. New Taylor wires 8mm 100. New Holley Carb 780 spreadbore 400. New Clutch, Pressure Plate, Throwout bearing. 275. New 454 flywheel. 150. New Heater core (NOS) 175. New Heater Fan motor (NOS) 125. New Custom built racing Radiator (brass) 750. Put all of the frame and suspenion together and installed the motor and trans.. New Hooker Comp side pipe Headers 1400. Jet Coated Headers and side pipes 650. I then install the body and had a shop install a New windshield pillar assy.(old piller rusty) 1500. I got the Corvette running/Drivable. The motor and Trans runs & Drives Great. I have Great Leather 68 Corvette seats setting in the car (550.) I have 75% of everything else that goes to the car to put it back together. I have the dash pad and dash panels. With lots of other parts that go with the car (wiring, gauges,Dash Pad, Dash Panels, Bumpers rear, Headlts and mounts, most of the interrior, Hood, Hood hinges. No Carpet. No convertable top or top frame. The Hard top is damaged. I have 4 Ralley Rims 15x7" Dated K-1-8 (11-01-68) 450. with Derby caps for the Corvette. This Corvette is Running & Drivable. The Paint looks Like Crap... BUT that is just from being sanded and stripped.. Front Cap or fender assy is not mounted or glued to the body just sitting on frame. August 8, 2008. |
