| Almost 15 years ago I found this beautiful but faded REAL 1969 Corvette tri power 427/ 435 convertible. I have always wanted this car so I carefully spent several years and over $50,000 to make this car as perfect as possible having the best Corvette mechanic in California fully and properly rebuild the motor, brakes and all other mechanical items as needed. I then proceeded to have all material items such as seats, convertible top, carpet, and door panels all redone or cleaned to look as new. I then had the best paint job I could get applied as I planned on owning this car forever, it shines like the sun. Hard convertible top included. My goal when I started was to make this car better than new so I could enjoy it when ever possible and have one of the best 427 Corvette roadsters out there. My friends all tell me I succeeded when they see me at a classic car show or take a drive with me. This is one fast and fun car that starts, runs and drives perfect no excuses. March 15, 2010. |
