| 1) Rick Hendrick's Heritage Collection Museum car. Actual mileage is 55,446 as documented. I bought this car from Hendrick July 4th 2013. This is a full body off car number one condition as listed by Hendrick's Museum. Paint is a 2 stage with a lacquer clear. Perfect no hit body. Perfect chrome. The car comes with the silver Hendrick key fob and briefcase package. full 427 tripower L71 435HP. 4 speed car. Has a 3.70 posi rear original spare tire in boot. To discuss documentation for the car call Richard at. Car comes with smog pump and correct repo carbs. Car starts and runs perfectly drive anywhere. All vacumn controlled devices work perfectly such as the wipers, wiper door and switches, the headlights and headlight switches and over ride switches all perfect. Transister ignition system rebuilt by Arthur Fiedler TA specialist cost 2,600 included distributor coil transister box and harness all perfect and correct. No excuse car stunning bright blue and bright blue interior. Top is Black new and never up so there is no marks on the body. All 68 locks and keys and door stuff all perfect. Radio works well clock does not. Special electronic battery control hidden in car no reason to disconnect battery. Car and engine since restoration about 100 miles. 435 tripower 68-69 cars are gaining and are a good buy now mostly because of the success of the 67 435 tripower cars. For some the diff between a 68 and 69 is a few cosmetic items but mostly the door locks. The door button on the 68 opens the door not the wide chrome grip diff on the 69. Other then that there are no real differences between the 68 and 69. Even the chassis engine, rear end, and tranny are the same from maybe mid 60's to up into the 70's. Some people have preferences between the 68 and 69 the only diff is really that the 68 was the first year of the body change so it had to be sorted, most owners took care of that early on. THE ENGINE HAS BEEN TUNED TO A HIGH LEVEL CARBS AND IGNITION FLAWLESS VERY STRONG RUNNING. RECENTLY READJUSTED THE SOLID LIFTER VALVES AFTER A FEW HOURS OF RUNNING...JUST PERFECT. $71,000 (RnM) on May 17, 2017. |
