BARN FIND! This car has been in storage for 33 years. Please read carefully as this car does not run and drive. The car was put in storage sometime in the 70's and was part of a large car collection. When the owner passed away it was part of an estate and the liquidator of the estate bought the best one of the collection for himself. He purchased the car several years ago with the intention of doing the minor items to get it running with his son. However, life got in the way and the plan never came together. This is a rare opportunity to buy a Corvette that is very original with the original TANK STICKER! BODY: The body is very straight and the GM part stickers are still in the fenders. The car was painted years ago but it was in dry storage and the PAINT is VERY NICE! The chrome is also very good. DRIVE TRAIN: The engine appears to me to have been rebuilt at some point. The valve train is very clean. The engine does fire up. The owner I bought the car from put gas in the intake and the car did run briefly. The trans is original. The rear axle appears to be a 3.08 gear. The car is equipped with A/C which is all intact. The original accessories are still on the engine such as: Carb, Distributor, Alt., Intake and Exhaust manifolds. master cylinder The front pad is original and all of the date codes are correct INTERIOR: Very original. The only non-original item is the radio. The drivers door panel has a few cracks in it. UNDER CARRIAGE: Very original. Could use a good cleaning but it is inline with a car of this vintage and mileage. The exhaust in newer. The brakes need to be completely replace. Plan on a complete caliper and rotor package that should run about $400-$500. The original MASTER CYLINDER does come with the car. TANK STICKER: The original tank sticker was removed from the tank. The tank "varnished" and needs to be replaced. The TANK STICKER is original, complete, but the options are very faint. Too faint to picture with any clarity.
