| Car history: |
| 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. This car was body-on restored and I am the second owner. it has a 350/350 hp small block engine. the block was changed to a 1974 Corvette block as original owner had motor problems. factory 3-speed manual transmission (only 336 made in 1969). it's painted 2003 viper race yellow. the interior is all brand new. custom 300-watt am/fm stereo. has knock-off style wheels. cones and spinners are not shown in pics as they were being re-chromed. they are included. also included is factory removeable hardtop. over $25,000 invested in restoration. will sacrifice for the low starting price of $20,000. Runs perfect. ready for show. Heres a listing of ALL I can think to put or add on to listing. Car is a total body on restoration. I replaced all steering and braking systems with all brand new parts. Car has stainless steel brakes with new rotors and pads. The tires are brand new (40 miles since car finished). All the interior is brand new. I disassembled the seats, sandblasted the seat frames and primed them with zinc oxide primer. The frames were painted with original semi gloss black paint then the new seat foam and seat covers were installed. The seat tracks were removed, sandblasted, primed and painted with original semi flat black paint. After drying the tracks were greased and ready for re-installation.The carpet and pad is brand new as well as the Deluxe Door panels bought from AL Knoch corvette interiors. I replaced the center counsel with a brand new one bought from Ecklers Corvette. The dash pad is new, the sun visors new, the windshield new. All the window tracks were removed, cleaned, greased and re-installed. The window felts and weather strips are brand new (bought at corvette rubber supply). The seat belts were removed and restored as well. I have a brand new convertible top canvass along with the tack strips and a brand new convertible top weather strip kit however I ran out of money to have it installed that is why I am selling with hardtop (which I paid $1000.00 for) for no extra cost. The car has a 350/350 engine. The block is out of 1974 Corvette and the heads are from a 1967 Corvette( 202 fuelies).Car has edelbrock intake and holley 4 barrel carb. All the emblems, scripts, letters etc are brand new out of GM boxes. I spared no expense in doing this car. It is painted using PPG DBC urethane base coat and cleared using PPG's DC4000 clear coat. These are the best paint materials money can buy.The car was wet sanded and buffed to a showroom finish. It is a show car and ready to drive. paint from trim plate. Trim from the owner. Built date is H13. January 22, 2008. |
