Car history:
2) Here is a very desirable 1969 Corvette Convertible (front chrome bumper car). Car has been painted years ago, It has a 350 engine with a 4 speed manual transmission. The car drives great with no issues. The suspension/ brakes/ trim/ glass/ chrome are all in driver level quality. Tires and wheels are in good condition along with the dual exhaust system. Interior is all in tact in driver quality condition as well. Color codes from the trim plate. Built date is F03. August 19, 2010.
1) The car is a 1969 corvette convertible. It had been stored in a barn for 4 years prior to my purchasing it. It has a 350ci replacement engine equiped with headers, competition cam, Edelbrach torker manifold, edlbk 600cfm carb and 327 dbl hump hi-perf heads. I Have gone through it and have replaced the rear main seal and installed a high volume oil pump. I also did a standard tune-up and oil change, replaced right front brake caliper and hose as well as checked and adjusted the rest of brakes which were found to be in good shape. The car has original front and rear chrome bumpers, and single word "stingray" emblems. The underneath floor pan guards insulation, frame cross braces and rear kickups are clean and not rusted through. The windshield gasketing is also clean and in good shape. The tires are new and mounted on American Mags. It also has new shocks all around. The top has been replaced and does not leak. The seats are leather and it has new carpeting front and back all done in black. The car also has power steering and brakes. The body has no major damage but will require cosmetic repairs. ie. scratches chips etc. The color was originally monza red but had since been painted blue. Included are a 1969 corvette assembly, restoration and original owners manual. The car is in good mechanical condition and a strong runner and can be driven for fun while it is being restored. I also had it looked at by our local corvette restoration shop and was told it was in good shape for its age and would make a good restoration vehicle. Although I have done the previous work mentioned, the following items will still need to be completed. New door hinge pins and bushings, a new rear leaf spring, the engine and chassis/undercarridge need to cleaned and painted and the windshield wiper door and motor which does not operate. 74,000 miles. January 31, 2008.
