| True barn car find. Purchased from second owner 3 years ago to restore but cannot finish the project. Car has not been driven on the road since 1979. Original 427/435HP car with perfect tank sticker. Options include: L71 427/435, transistor ignition, M21 4 speed, 4.11 HD positraction rear end, F41 HD suspension, tilt and tel steering column, AM/FM, PO2 hubcaps, side louver trim, tinted glass and the rare, 1969 only N14 side exhaust system. Likely less than 100 cars built this way in 1969. Frame has surface rust; part number stencil and HD rear end crayon markings still visible. Original engine spun a bearing but have dated 1969 512 block, dated 840 heads, original 797 intake and service dated carbs. Body is in primer as previous owner was adding flares. Front flares complete and have replacement panels, rear flares mounted but original fenders still intact. Have numerous parts I’ve collected for the rebuild, too many to list. Disassembly documented with marked up assembly manual and well over 1000 photos. If price is right also willing to include 1971, LS5/LS6 4 bolt 512 motor currently in car sans heads, intake, carb and exhaust manifolds. Have well over $25K invested to date but willing to part with it for $18K or best offer. Color codes from the owner. Built date is K11. March 29, 2001. |
