THIS PRICE HAS BEEN FORCED DOWN BELOW THE 40'S DUE TO COVID MARKET CONDITIONS. THIS PRICE IS SUPER FAIR CONSIDERING ALL THE MONEY INVESTED IN THIS CAR. AROUND 65k TOTAL. JEFF Wow! Check this early C3 Corvette Out. 1970 was the last year for high compression engines... beautiful performance. This Stingray is owned and being sold by a Woman that loves Her Corvette. Has spent a fortune making it perfect for her desires. She is a member of NCRS and a genuine Car Gal. It is time for them to down size their home so the Corvette must be sold. So what do we have here? We have a gorgeous 1970 Convertible. Powered by it's original matching numbers 350 / 300 hp. engine Now rated at 350 hp. est. This engine was professionally rebuilt by the local speed shop and race car owner. The cylinders were bored out for the first time 30 thousandth's of an inch, of course all new bearings and gaskets, higher performance Crane Cam Shaft, light weight and friction free roller rocker arms, heads shaved a bit for clean fit and a little higher compression, and most recently the addition of Holley Sniper Electronic fuel injection. The original Quadrajet carburetor comes with the car in a box. Modern fuel injection offers cleaner emissions, smoother power, more power, and easy starting in any climate. Yes better gas mileage too, but who cares! Power goes from it's numbers matching engine to it's Muncie 4 speed with all new clutch assembly, then to it's original Posi Traction rear. 3.70 gear ratio. Great match up to the now more powerful original engine. Dressed in it's original color of Bridgehampton blue over black interior. Paint is 20 years old and looks new from 5 feet. Very nice driver quality. Interior was recently restored and expensive wood steering wheel installed at that time. Original goes with the car. Power steering, Power Disc Brakes, Original Working AM-FM radio, factory tilt & telescopic wheel ( super nice to have in a C3 Corvette ) modern set it and forget it fuel injection - already done, and Cold factory Air Conditioning!
