2) 1969 Corvette 4 speed project car. This car needs completely restored. 350 small block not numbers matching. The car was sitting in Florida for a very long time. I bought the car to part out. Someone at some point replaced the doors with 68 doors. I needed those doors for my 68. I was told when I bought the car off of pictures that the doors were solid. They are not! They are junk, rusted away. If the car does not sell I will part it out just figured I would try and sell it complete first. The end caps on both sides of the frame are rusted. I have not tried to turn the engine over. Please keep in mind this car needs everything rebuilt! The car is very rough but it is a 69 4 speed, air, power window car. I have part of the build sheet as you can see pictured, the rest is still on the tank. It has a big block hood on it but it is damaged pretty bad. Car is located in Indianapolis IN. 46237. I have a clean Florida title for the car. No bid at starting $3,000 on February 26, 2018. 1) 969 Chevy Corvette 4 Speed. Loaded with Options Project Car Barn Find C2. Power Brakes/ Power Steering/ Factory AC/ Power Windows. SAME OWNER FOR 30 YEARS!!! Was previously a big block car 427 (as per previous owner). Needs Total Restoration very complete project rare loaded options. Engine and Transmission: As previously stated the car has been sitting for almost 30 years!!! The engine does not start and barely turns with the starter. It turns one inch at a time every time you click the starter. Not sure if bad starter or engine having trouble turning. The engine is very complete and loaded with option such as power brakes, power steering, and factory ac with compressor and condenser present. I pinched the ac lines and heard a small amount of hiss which could mean the lines are solid. The engine also has the original Tach Drive Corvette Distributor and extra large radiator which the big blocks used to bring. Again, this car will need complete restoration so please make sure to bring a truck with a winch. Checked the oil on the engine and it looked good. Spark plug cables are missing. The car is equipped with a 4 speed tranny which is present. The car does roll and steer just fine but brakes do not work. Paint and Body: The body has cracks dings and scratches as can be seen in the pics but is very complete except for the front bumper and rocker panels which are missing. The hood is a 427 hood and has a large crack and piece missing as can be seen in pics. The front grills are present but the outer molding is a bit damaged. The passenger side door opens but does not lock. The driver side door does not open looks like the handles is loose from the latch. T Tops are present. Lights and Electrical: Not much to say since car does not turn on except that front headlights are complete and present. Center console guage cluster and radio is present one guage is missing. Interior: The interior on the car is also pretty complete and the seats are surprisingly not ripped or torn. The interior panels are mostly all present. The driver side door panel is loose but present. Dashboard is not cracked and in nice shape. More can be seen from pics. Glass: All glass is present the windshield is cracked. Chassis, Suspension, Brakes: The brakes do not work. The underside of the car is also very complete, exhaust suspension and tires all present. The chassis appears to be usable with surface rust the only area which may need attention is at the end of the chassis in front of the rear tire there is some flaking but does not appear to be structutal. This is a project that needs total restoration. Sold for $3,330 on May 30, 2017.
