| VERY RARE fully documented 1968 427/435HP Black Corvette convertible with gunmetal vinyl interior and white soft top. It has the L71 427/435hp tri-power engine with an M21 close ratio 4 speed transmission and a 3:70 positraction rear axle. There were only 708 black Corvettes produced in 1968 and this is a REAL one. We purchased the car from the second owner and the recent frame off restoration is almost complete, he just did not have the time to finish it. The car can either been finished by the new owner or hire us at Corvette Mike to complete it. Most of the major items have been bought and restored and the remaining work and expense is mostly labor. This is possibly the most documented 1968 Corvette in existence and it includes: •Original window sticker •Build sheet •Protect-O-Plate •Dealer invoice to customer with payment receipts •Copy of original title •Dealer Invoice copy •Original Owner’s manual in plastic with other items •and much more The options include: •M21 4 Speed Close ratio transmission •L71 435HP engine •AM/FM radio •Tinted Glass •Power steering •Auxiliary hard top •Positraction Axle 3:70 ratio •Full transistor ignition •Off road exhaust The car has many original parts which have been restored and/or rebuilt.
