Original 427 / 390 h.p. car from factory. The car still has the original correct 427 /390 hp CE suffix motor in it. Car also has factory correct turbo hydramatic Auto transmission and original rear end. All running gear in car works and perform as good as day it was sold new! Car was repainted two year ago the original factory color of LeMans Blue. The paint looks very nice and has a nice wet look shine to it. Car will Win Trophys at any local car show as it sits today and turn every head in town driving or parked! The inside of car is also original to the car and is correct in color and factory options ' nothing cut up or installed aftermarket! The inside looks factory original as when sold new in 1968 and still looks very nice today. Many new parts installed on car over the past two years. New paint, New front and Rear chrome bumpers. New chrome rear lic plate insert. New front window glass, Side glass still original to car with factory Astro Ventiolation stamp on glass. Car has all new 4 wheel power dics brakes that work Outstanding. Car will stop straight and on a dime. All new E brake hardware under car, The motor in car runs Outstanding a very strong running 427 that will set you back in the seat if you put your foot down on the gas peddle = FUN CAR TO DRIVE. Motor needs nothing this is a very sound and solid strong running 427 motor that is fitted with 4 bbl carb and headers - the correct 427 factory intake still on car. The motor in car is correct to this car, The Motor Block casting number is 3916321 and will Decode as 1968 ONLY 427 / 390 H.P The intake on car is casting number 3937793 = Also 1968 427/390 Hp with Oval Ports and single 4 bbl carb. The block face has suffix code stamp CE. The CE code stands for Chevrolet Engine and is the code stamp used by the factory when dealer installing a replacement motor under Factory Warranty. So for all the Corvette buffs the motor in the car will decode correct as 68 427 warranty motor. The trim tag on car reads Paint code 976 = Lemans Blue and that is what the car is. The inside trim code 414: Medium Blue again same as car is today.
