Bob Bray 10 I contacted Bob as a result of his good references. After a pleasant phone discussion, we agreed on a price and I sent him both carbs from my '60 270 horse. Upon receipt of my carbs he called and advised that mine were not the original carbs for a '60 but were from an earlier model 2x4 engine. I asked if he could help find originals. He located a Vette owner in Florida that needed mine and he located a Vette owner in California that agreed to sell him the correct carbs for mine. Within three weeks I received the rebuild correct carbs for mine and only paid a very reasonable finders fee and the agreed price to rebuild the carbs. The carbs are a work of art & fired first time on the engine. Bob went the extra mile for me and I appreciate it. He is semi-retired but still doing excellent work on these old WCFB's. I give him my highest recommendation. He is a true professional and an artist!
427corvett 5 Bob’s work was highly recommended to me, yet I was unable to get by the complete lack of a pleasant working relationship during initial discussions. It’s a shame, as I’ve heard the work is superb.
