Total custom 1968 Corvette Stingray just taken out of storage! This car is very unique and would cost you well over $40,000 to build today! This vette is the best of both worlds with its motion gt body and a late model fuel injected corvette engine and over drive transmission. The car was built in the late 80s and no expense was spared used sparingly for a few years going to car shows and then put into indoor storage. The body is gorgeous the narrow nose to the flared rear just makes the car! The exterior body work is stunning and even though is was done many years ago you can tell it was done right (not one bubble in the paint!). The yellow with the metal flake black stripe is stunning just some normal wear and tear but over all its very nice! The black interior is also custom and beautiful it looks almost new and even has a original corvette am/fm CB radio with mic! The polish american racing wheels and tires look new and are where custom made to fit the car perfectly (the rears are nice and wide and fit in the wheel well perfectly). Under the hood again the car is totally custom but instead of there being an unreliable carberated engine this car has a Tune Port Induction Engine and overdrive transmission from a late model corvette mated to hooker side exhausts with custom made heat shields (not super loud) so you get plenty of power, reliability and great gas milage (not that you care in a car like this). Just turn the key and she starts right up ever time! The car also has all its custom gauges in the cowl of the custom hood. The frame is solid. This car was built many years ago and it looks great but like any older car I'm sure it has a few faults. Sold below $11,995. November 17, 2015.
