The ZZ383 has plenty of power and the 5 speed transmission has made it much more drivable on long trips. This T-top Stingray is in great shape. It has a low mileage (~6000 miles) ZZ383 crate engine with Tremec TKO 5 speed manual transmission. The ZZ383 has plenty of power and the 5 speed transmission has made it much more drivable on long trips. When engine/transmission was replaced many new parts were added including new radiator, hoses, and belts fuel pump, water pump, alternator, vacuum hose hit, HEI distributor, starter, Edelbrock Eliminator intake, and Edelbrock AFB Carburetor, clutch, pressure plate, hooker headers and side pipes. It has custom fender flares and front air dam professionally installed to accommodate wider tires. The interior is in great shape. The AC has an R12 to R134A conversion kit and it blows cold. I've drove this vette up Pikes Peak with no concerns. I've drove this vette on long trips (Colorado to/from Missouri) at interstate speeds and its well behaved and quite dependable.
