For sale is a 1973 Corvettte that I have been working on since December 2008. This model is easily recognized by its body-color front bumper system combined with last year for chrome rear bumpers. The change in front was dictated by federal legislation. All 1973 Corvettes had metal beams inside the doors for side impact protection. This car was soda blasted prior to going to paint. I can tell you that all body panels including front rubber nose is original to the car. The car has never been wrecked and I have tons of pictures after all paint was off the car. The paint is 3 coats of base and 3 coats of clear. Painted June 3, 2010. It is as slick as they get. Everything on the outside of the car is new--Bumpers, emblems, taillights, marker lights, grilles, rocker panel covers, door handles, door locks and all new weatherstrip. The engine is 350 V8 with 400 turbo trans. It has new 600 cfm Holley carb, fuel pump, valve covers, oil pump and pan, cap, plugs, wires and hoses. All new fluids including transmission. Interior has new carpet, temp guage, oil guage and radio. The brake system all the way around is brand new. New calipers all four, new master cylinder and pads. Brakes work great. New Flow Master exhaust. Everything was taken out of the interior cleaned and dyed were needed and put back with all new bulbs in the clusters. You can drive this car anywhere and it runs at about 180 degrees with 60lbs of oil pressure. I have had a great time doing this car and the only reason I am selling I have bought another to do again. I have all the reciepts on this car since 2008. It is for sale less than what I have spent. The mileage on the odometer is 35,015. I do have paper work back in 2000 that the car had 31,000 on it. The car set for 8 years before I bought it. I assume it is probally 135,015? But who knows. Im sure I have left out things so you can call with any questions. The three things left to do is fix the A/C and headlights and detail under the car. Frame rails and shock towers all are in great shape. Lights work but will not come up on their own.
