| Car history: |
1975 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe, orange flame color with medium saddle leather interior with only 17,344 original miles.(and it shows) I’m the 2nd owner of this beautiful vehicle, and I’m forced to sell it as I’ve lost the garage I had for it at my Mothers house (She passed away and the family is selling the house). This is a great example of an original un-messed up car. All stock, no cut wires. It still has the original Goodyear tires, look at the picture. Trim rings and center caps excellent. T-tops are in fully operational condition and the weatherstrips are nice. Owners Manual is with car, as are some seat shims that were in the package. The interior is really nice as you would expect with a car this original. A small crack on the drivers door arm rest, and one on the center console. The pouches for the T tops are MIA, but the straps that hold them are there. I can not stress enough that this is a rare ORIGINAL 75 Vette!. The vehicle was garaged and run regularly. The frame shows no signs of rot at all. I did the brakes, complete with rotors and master cylinder in August of 2011. Because of age not use. All original replaced parts are in boxes and with the car.
The front and rear bumpers are the only thing on the car that need attention. I understand that the vast majority of the bumpers on these cars have problems with the plastic cracking, so does this one. I chose not to repair them, as to give the purchaser of this fine sports car the chance to repair as they see fit. The motor is completly stock. I did the brakes and did not expect to spend over $2,000 to do it right, I even saved all the old parts in case the buyer wants to have them refurbished and put the original brake parts back on the car. This car is very near Barrett Jackson Quality and with a little TLC easily can be the next Barrett Jackson Low Mile Original Collector car at Connecticut Prices! Original Title was misplaced/lost moving, and Connecticut like a lot of other states does no longer requires a certificate of title for cars prior to 1981. It can be registered in any state with a valid bill of sale (we also have the last registration) to the purchaser. Owner does have the registration from 1978 w/VIN NO. That was the last yr the car was registered. Registration in 1978 is in the owners name. Purchaser can check with their Registry/MVD prior to purchase. I'll help you with your states paperwork requirements.
