| This is a Numbers Matching 1972 454 Corvette in excellent condition with too many new and restored parts to list! A numbers matching vehicle in excellent condition with 91K miles is very rare. I have all the original documentation including: owner’s manual, original bill of sale with the options listed and Protect-o-Plate. Not only is it a numbers matching Corvette, it also has several options which make it even rarer and it’s the most desirable color combination Red on Black. In 1972 there were 3,913 with an optional 454 C.I. engine, 1,638 with a 4-speed close-ratio manual transmission, and 2,478 with a Mille Miglia Red exterior. The Mille Miglia Red exterior came with 3 interior choices: Black, Red or Saddle. I don’t know how many 1972 Red on Black, 454, 4 speed with AC were made; but it can't be many! It has an aftermarket Corvette AM/FM cassette player installed but the original AM/FM radio is included with the car. The back window pops out which is also a nice extra feature. This is a very powerful engine and a blast to drive! This 1972 corvette is the last year a number of features. It was the last year for the front/rear chrome bumpers (a tradition since 1953), vacuum operated wiper door & egg crate design for side fender vents & front grille.
