I purchase the car in 2001 with no miles on the new motor and fresh paint. Actual mileage unknown. My wife only drives it occasionally for a total of no more than 5000 miles since. Starts every time and runs and stops strong, it has no choke so it takes a few minutes to warm up. Brute horsepower and very stiff suspension dose not make it very practical for a daily driver but is a real kick in the pants to drive. It is currently tuned to run on hi-octane gas – I mix a few gallons 110 octane race fuel with a tank of 91 pump gas. It can be de-tuned to run on pump gas if you want (timing – carb adjust). Drives and brakes straight and true. The body and bumpers are straight and solid. The paint is shiny and shows well. The tires show no wear. All lights, turn signals and gauges work (except for odometer and clock). I tried to list all flaws and get close-up pictures of them. I posted the "corvette order copy", which is proof of the original equipment, on my website: http://web.mac.com/mistermike |
