| 1970 CORVETTE 454 390 HP 4 SPEED #'s MATCHING. This car is very clean and all original interior, engine compartment, and underside. I have had this car for 10 years, bought it out of California. It has sat in a heated garage since. Last year I decided to have the car painted red. It was originally white. I did not like the white. The car has a very sharp paint job. It must be scene to be appreciated. The underside of the car is very clean. It has minor surface rust in a few areas on the frame with a lot of original paint left. The 454 motor has 78,000 miles on it and does not miss a beat. I have all sorts of receipts for a lot of the work that I had done on this car and parts that were replaced, like bumpers, grille, seals, lights, side markers and other various parts. I also have the original 1980 Owners Manual and side manufacturers sticker that goes in the door. Just a few days ago when I took the car out of storage, I had the carborator rebuilt, wires, plugs, and tuned up. The 4-speed and clutch shift smoothly. Everything on the car works except the oil pressure. The guy at the garage said it has a bad line. I disconnected the air conditioning from the fan belt years back when the belt went bad and never replaced it. It worked at that time. It has the original stereo that works. The clock works sometimes. The interior is super clean, no tears, rips in carpet, seats or dash and door panels. The glass is all good, t-tops work great, seals are new. The rear window removes. Once again, the car is all original, numbers matching except for the paint. Heads turn when they see this car! $32,000. Color codes from the owner. Built date is C01. April 5, 2012. |
