| This 1970 Corvette Stingray coupe is quite simply a spectacular example of a very limited production iconic sports car. Due to a labour strike at the manufacturing plant these cars were delayed which resulted in a very low production figure. This car has undergone extensive and complete top to bottom restoration. The engine, though not original is still correct and completely rebuilt and has a 5 year/ 60,000km warranty. Absolutely everything about this beautiful car is very close to flawless, right down to the beauty rings and the hubcaps. The paint is amazing and the chrome is perfect. The car is very tight on the road and sounds fantastic. This car was purchased in Texas and the original restoration was completed in Idaho. After I purchased the car I replaced the engine with a 1970 block and had it built to the original LT1 spec. This car has a perfect body, and complete restoration that includes both a new engine, and transmission as well as the majority of the suspension. 52,100 miles. March 31, 2012. |
