| Bought this baby in April of 1996. She's in the same condition as we bought her. Went through a nasty divorce so needless to say she was garage kept and not driven in years. Probably at least 8. No work has been done on her except for regular maintenance back in the day. Finally had her towed over here from the exmotherinlaw's garage and she's been outside in our driveway for the past year. I was having a hard time parting with her but I now know she needs a home for Christmas. Great winter project! 124K miles on it but engine was rebuilt at 100K. Info from previous owner. Have the original owners manual. Positives... everything original except the radio, original seats and belts in good condition, doors very tight not shaky at all, all electrical works, 400 Turbo transmission, pop out back window, TTops good, luggage rack(some rust). Negatives... Needs Brakes! Needs compressor for AC! Drivers side window at top needs to be pulled up the last inch. Hasn't been driven in years but when it was it ran perfectly! Fast and tight in the corners. Needs a paint job - faded, cracks and chips. No dents or damage though. Small crack in the motor mount - no damage to hood. Have driven it as is. Again for a car almost 40 years old people have said she is in fantastic shape and cleans up well. Solid frame. Someone who wants a good investment and a project to clean her up here ya go! I am hoping she goes to a good home! |
