Posted 07/18/2019 You are looking at a beautifully restored 1979 Corvette L-82 with original 49K miles, the car was fully disassembled, prepped, painted and put back together at a cost of over $11,000 just for the paint job. The interior is all new, new carpet, new door panels, new real leather seats (blue cloth from factory), new speedo bezel, new gauge bezel, new shifter bezel, it is a very well optioned Corvette. It has power windows, power door locks, power steering, power brakes, tilt-telescoping steering, L-82 option which adds 30 horsepower to the car. I think that the only option that did not come on the car is the Gymkhana suspension. As for the drivetrain it is all original. The engine and transmission have never been opened except for the valve covers and transmission pan for gaskets replacement. All new A/C components like the compressor, dryer and orifice tube, all new brakes, all new rubber seals and weather stripping. This Corvette looks, runs and shifts great no issues at all. I would not hesitate to drive it cross country just take the T Tops off and enjoy the trip. I do have pix of the car before, during, and after the restoration and the paint job. By the way the car has never been in any accident or fender bender before the work was done. It is all original panels. |
